On Saturday, 2nd May the Scottish Developers UG will organize a MS event in Glasgow, Scotland where your humble servant has proposed to give a session on SQL Server 2008 Data Warehouse scalability improvements. Selection of sessions is foreseen in February. More info can be found here:

Survived SQLServerDay

You don't get that many opportunities in life where you get asked to be a speaker at an important SQL Server event. I was more than happy to get such an invitation for the third time this year. After the European PASS conference and the bi-monthly SQL Server Users Group meeting, I presented DW scalability improvements in SQL 2008 yesterday at the first Belgian SQLServerDay. Although making such a presentation was a lot of work, the positive feedback compensates all the sweat of the past days. So I’m ready for the next challenge.
